Investment Banking Analyst to assist a group of merchant/investment bankers and A&D professionals prepare PowerPoint presentations, financial models, sales materials, contracts, briefing books and make sales calls.

Job Description:

The Analyst will have the following responsibilities:

  • Preparing and maintaining due diligence files on Microsoft Sharepoint
  • Mentoring Analysts, answering questions and reviewing their work product
  • Develop relationships with potential accredited investors
  • Create and review sales/marketing materials in PowerPoint, emails and pdf format
  • Wage: base + bonus (to be negotiated)

Required Skills, Experience and Education:

  • Undergraduate or MBA graduate student in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business
  • Relevant sales experience a plus
  • Experience with securities, project finance, international finance is a plus
  • Ability to quickly understand the workings of complex finance and relationships
  • Excellent communication skills: the ability to synthesize information and present in a written and verbal format
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff to develop strong working relationships
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong aptitude for technology including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Flexible schedule (nights/weekends)
  • Non-English language skills are a positive
  • FINRA licenses a major positive
